In this website I describe my specialization and the most relevant cases which I have worked on, the working methodology that I use, and my professional trajectory as a lawyer and property administrator.
Let me introduce myself: my name is Pilar Blanco. I work as a lawyer since 1989, and as property administrator since 1984. From the very beginning of my professional career I have been working as an independent autonomous lawyer.
I am specialized in Real Estate and Urban Development law as well as in the Administration and Management of large Real Estate family Patrimonies. I also have been appointed arbitrator of ARBIN; an arbitrage court to solve real estate conflicts. In the menu item Cases and Specialization you can find other significant working areas of practice.
One of the lessons learned during my professional trajectory as a lawyer is the importance the client gives to the fact that his or her case be fully analyzed and carried out by the same lawyer that personally treats with the client —without any further subcontracting or delegation to other lawyers—. The relationship of confidence from the client to the lawyer appears when this last one manifests a qualification, experience and dedication to the case of the client.
As an opposed practice, and following the line of a good number of big auditors and business consulting firms, there is a certain trend in some law firms towards the quasi-industrial treatment of great volumes of cases of clients; initially entrusted to senior lawyers and afterwards, partially or totally, delegated to other junior lawyers with less experience. Personally I prefer —and have chosen— the law practice indicated in the prior paragraph: with a more direct and personal attention to the client.
